What inspired Sarah to become a Stylist-
"Complete happen stance. Ann came to me with the idea of opening a grooming salon and the idea of spending more quality one on one time with each pet while also feeding my creativity sounded heavenly! And it is!"

Sarah has been part of The Bark Spa Burlington family since since the beginning of The Bark Spa, she was the first groomer hired, bringing newly trained grooming experience and a passion for creating calm, spa-like transformations for every pet that visits.
With expert training, certification and passion, Sarah approaches each appointment as both an art and a relationship — focusing on comfort, beauty, and trust.

Philosophy & Approach
Sarah believes that luxury pet care means quality products, relaxing grooming environment, attention to detail and professional but personal relationships between the pet stylist, pets and pet parents alike. Their goal is to ensure every dog leaves feeling pampered, confident, and loved. They do so by ensuring no pet is groomed the same. The order of grooming steps, the product used, tools/restraints used and time allotted is personalized to each individual pets needs as that gives them the most comfort. Whether working with anxious pups, senior dogs, or show breeds, Sarah takes pride in tailoring each session to the individual pet’s needs.

Personal Touch
When Sarah isn’t transforming pups at The Bark Spa, they can be found enjoying hiking, camping and anything to do with water. But when I'm stuck inside, I love to play video games and build Lego sets.
Their own pets: "I have 3 dogs and 2 cats! Link and Dink are my handsome tuxedo cats. Both boys are the chillest, sweetest cats you'd ever meet. My dogs are Kyro, my fearless. almost 13 year old mastiff mix, Titan my bashful.. almost 12 year old Great Dane mix and Negan my one year old Poodle mix who is the biggest goofball!"
Something surprising about your stylist: I was born and raised in Southern California. I did not move to Iowa until I turned 18.
